The Prayer Team

“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We are looking for people who will make a high-level commitment to intercede before God on our behalf. Will you:

Pray daily for the Youth for Christ staff and for the kids in our community
Pray for God to continue to provide the finances necessary to accomplish the mission
Regularly check the website so that you can pray for specific needs
Consider fasting as a spiritual discipline which honors God
Commit to attend a quarterly prayer meeting where we can meet and honor God in worship and in prayer (when available)

Jim Cymbala, author and pastor of The Brooklyn Tabernacle, writes “If we call upon the Lord, He has promised in His Word to answer, to bring the unsaved to himself, to pour out His Spirit among us. If we don’t call upon the Lord, He has promised nothing – nothing at all.”

We need a group of people who will lift up the city, the YFC staff, and the young people in our communities and bring them before the Lord on a daily basis.
